How To Remove Reference Numbers From Any Wikipedia Page

If you have gone to school, then all of you must have used the help of Wikipedia a lot of times. Most of your project works were just copy paste from Wikipedia. But there is one thing everybody hates and that’s the numbers in square brackets, eg: [22]. That’s annoying when you copy paste and you would have to delete one by one coz there ain’t any shortcuts for that. Well, I got curious and found out one solution. It’s simple but it works only on PCs. Anyways who uses mobile for these project works, right?

Let’s do it

  1. Save this (also given in the end of this post) as your bookmark. You can name it anything.
  2. Open the Wikipedia page you want to use.
  3. Click the bookmark you’ve saved.
  4. BOOM!! All the unwanted numbers have now vanished into thin air.
